Building Buzz for Bees: Because a World Without Bees Makes No Sense

Bzzz… If you’ve been on the streets of Hintonburg lately, or on our social media, you may have noticed that all the B’s have disappeared. That’s because we want to show everybody that a world without bees makes no sense.

But why do we want to do this?

Well, for more than 25 million years, bees have buzzed about the Earth pollinating critical food supplies. But according to the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services “about 16 per cent of the world’s invertebrate pollinators are being driven toward extinction by diverse pressures, many of them human-made.”

At Banfield, we always root for the underdog. That’s why we love to lend our services and expertise to important causes — like saving the bees. In order to do our part for them, we decided to swarm together to raise awareness.

So you’re invited to Building Buzz for Bees!
