The National Arts Centre selects Banfield as Agency of Record

OTTAWA, July 14, 2014 – The National Arts Centre (NAC) announces it has selected Ottawa-based Banfield as its Agency of Record (AOR) for another term. The three-year agreement covers creative development, design and media strategy for single-ticket sales across the National Arts Centre’s five disciplines (Orchestra, Dance, English Theatre, French Theatre and NAC Presents).

“Banfield’s proven track record reflects the agency’s ability to develop and execute strategic, well-integrated campaigns, leading to several industry awards over the past couple of seasons,” said Shannon Urie, Associate Director of Marketing at the National Arts Centre. “ However, what continues to stand out is their approach, their partnership with us and willingness to go over and above to meet our needs.”

Banfield and the NAC have a long-standing AOR relationship since 2006 and the agency continues to partner with the NAC on initiatives beyond the AOR including video development, social media, special events and subscription campaign initiatives for the various disciplines.

“We are proud to continue to call NAC an important partner,” says Nancy Webb, President and Director of Client Services at Banfield. “Not only because the NAC is a leading arts organization in Canada, but also because most of our staff are passionate about the arts and dedicated NAC patrons as well.”

The contract is effective starting July 1 2014.
