Earlier this month the Banfield team hit the streets to help the National Arts Centre (NAC) kick off its box office opening with a live stunt!
If you were lucky enough to be in one of the three select locations across the capital region, you may have come across a pop-up NAC box office window in an unexpected public space.
The first 10 people to approach each of the box office booths received two free tickets to an NAC show of their choice. Everyone else who stopped by was given a ticket discount for an upcoming show.
Leading up to the day, Banfielders coloured the streets with chalk drawings and messages to build anticipation and excitement for the stunt. On the day of, we were found drawing people towards the booths, handing out discount coupons and live tweeting the event!
This year, the NAC promises a daring, unforgettable selection of theatre, dance and music, including the debut of new NAC Orchestra musical director, Alexander Shelley.
