Spring has Sprung at Place d’Orléans

Spring may be taking its time reaching the capital city, but that did not stop us from having some floral fun at a recent photo shoot with long-time client and local shopping centre Place d’Orléans!

Earlier this year, the Banfield team worked with Place d’Orléans to develop the creative concept and look and feel for its Spring 2016 campaign, with the purpose of previewing some of the upcoming fashion trends of the new season. The direction we set involved a fresh look that incorporated live flowers and greenery — to really give the campaign some springtime vitality.

Unable to find the right outdoor backdrop to express our vision (due to Mother Nature’s strong hold on winter), we turned to local florist and café Blumenstudio for the perfect indoor alternative.

The unique setting was perfect for showcasing four fashion ensembles, using items from a number of Place d’Orléans stores. All looks were modeled by gorgeous talent from Toronto’s Elmer Olsen Model Management.

To capture all of the day’s excitement, we brought Place d’Orléans’ very own fashion blogger Amanda Conquer on-site to share highlights on social media.

It was a great shoot for all involved, and we are extremely thankful for everyone that came together to create such an eye-catching and fresh looking campaign.

Keep an eye on Place d’Orléans as the campaign continues to unroll onsite, online and across the city! And in case you miss it, here are a couple of our best shots from the day!
